Nature Connection for Children

I have been an Earth Educator for over 10 years, guiding immersive nature and art experiences with children in wild environments -

forest, mountain, shore, and meadow.

I teach in a beloved program called Tree School, within a Preschool - 8th grade independent school in Marin County, California. Each day we take small groups of children out into the natural environment to deepen their relationship with, and learn to become stewards and protectors of our Earth. Through open-ended play, foraging for edible plants, nature journal time, and crafting, our time together offers children opportunities for both joyful, expansive play, and quiet reflection.

I am always open and available to create tailored nature & art experiences for groups of children.

Please reach out to me if you would like to collaborate!

In my work as a nature educator with young children, I center joyful, imaginal play, care and stewardship, and sensory, immersive experiences. Through movement, song, storytelling, edible foraging, and Earth inspired art making, I open space for children’s innate ability to merge fully into connective relationship with each other and wild places. I model language that honors our human interdependence with the more-than-human world, and practices that recognize and uphold their agency and subjecthood through care, respect and gratitude.
